Fireworks And Open Fires

UPDATE ON FIRE RESTICTIONS

As of July 1, 2012 the Fire Chief and Genola Town Mayor have banned any and all open fires and fireworks until further notice. You could be held liable for any and all damages if you start a fire. Please be careful and have a safe 4^th and 24^th, contact the Fire Chief or Mayor if you have any questions.

2014 Open Burn Fire Dates

RESIDENTIAL BURNING PERMITS:
The open burn days for 2014 are March 30th to May 30th. This is for residential burn permits (2.5 acres and smaller), these permits are obtained though the Department of Air Quality's web page http://www.airquality.utah.gov/Compliance/OpenBurning/index.htm

AGRICULTURAL BURNING PERMITS:
The permits for Agricultural burning may be picked up during our regular meeting times. These dates are the first and third Wednesday's of every month from 7 pm to 10:00 pm, and are good for 2 years from the date obtained.
