Air Med......

Genola Fire Department responded to an accident on Hwy 6 on March 21, with one person being flown to UVRMC.

 

We are very fortunate to now have Air Med stationed at Mountain View Hospital in Payson for those times when minutes count.    

 

Genola and Santaquin Fire Department’s worked great together on this difficult call.     

Ambulance Training......

This week for our training we had one of the ambulances from Santaquin come to our station. Training was held on how the firemen would help on a trauma call while assisting the ambulance crew.  Our members were also trained on where to find equipment on the ambulances if needed. In the photos are two of our newest Genola Fire Department members for the medical first responders.
