West Mountain Fire

We were paged out to a wildland fire on the west side of West Mountain on Saturday the 15th around 7 pm. This fire was started by target shooters. Ten of our members came out to fight this fire which was in very rocky and steep terrain. This fire had to be fought with hand tools.

A Forest Service and BLM hand crew arrived around dark and started working to extinguish this fire.
