Your local Volunteer Fire Department would like to invite you to our First Annual Preparedness Open House on Saturday June 8th from 8:00am until 11:00am.
A free breakfast will be served during this time by our support group (wife's of the firemen).
Fire topics will include:
- Burn Permits - the new requirements
- How to help us find you
- House fires - Do's and Don'ts
- Smoke alarms how old is to old
Bring your used fire extinguishers to be recharged by Taylor's, the cost will be depending on size and type. New extinguishers will be available to purchase if needed.
Fireman Challenge --- come and see if your can beat one of our own in a timed event. Trials will be at 9:00am, 10:00am and finals at 11:00am.
